Dubai outlines its evacuation procedures and explains how operations are being adjusted to ensure safety in response to the US–Israel–Iran war.

Residents should follow all evacuation instructions if building premises are cleared, while companies should implement operational adjustments to maintain safety and continuity.

Dubai: Authorities in Dubai have confirmed that certain building premises may be evacuated as a precautionary measure amid ongoing tensions involving Iran.

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism stated, “Evacuations may occasionally be necessary as part of safety procedures to protect everyone and enable emergency teams to respond efficiently.”

The department also provided guidance on the steps to follow when evacuation procedures are implemented:

Instructions include:

Evacuation Alarm: If the alarm sounds, leave the building immediately using the nearest and safest fire exit.

Follow Instructions: Always follow the directions of building staff and emergency responders.

Safety Reminder:
“To ensure your safety and the safety of others, always follow the guidance of emergency response teams and building management during any incident. Adhering to official instructions allows teams to act quickly and protects the well-being of the entire community. For verified updates, rely only on official channels,” the department posted on the Dubai Info Hub—a platform launched to share news, important updates, and quick tips about the city.

Adjustments to Operations:
The department also advised that “some organisations may temporarily adjust their operations as a precautionary measure.”

“These steps are taken as a precaution and do not necessarily indicate any specific risk. Please remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information, and follow official updates,” the department added.

Businesses in Dubai are adapting to the current situation by making necessary operational adjustments under the guidance of authorities. Some companies have asked employees to work from home on certain days. Employees are advised to follow instructions carefully and refrain from spreading rumours.
