Authorities in the emirate have addressed a minor incident caused by falling debris after an interception, which has been contained with no injuries reported.

The Dubai Media Office has stated on social media that reports of an incident at Dubai International Airport (DXB) are false.
It stated that Dubai’s authorities handled a minor incident caused by a falling shrapnel fragment from a successful air defence interception, with no injuries reported.
UAE authorities have repeatedly reminded residents not to circulate unverified information online.
On March 4, Dubai Police warned: “Sharing rumours, false information, or any content that contradicts official announcements—or that may cause public panic or threaten public safety, order, or health—is prohibited.”
The statement added that violators could face criminal penalties, including imprisonment and fines starting from Dh200,000.
Authorities also emphasized that during crises, it is crucial to stay calm, follow official guidance, and avoid spreading misleading information that could create unnecessary panic.
