UAE advises residents to adhere to safety guidelines during alerts.

NCEMA warns against recording sirens and urges residents to seek immediate shelter.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has urged the public to strictly follow safety guidelines whenever warning sirens are activated, emphasizing that these alerts are intended solely to protect lives.

Authorities noted that some people have been leaving their homes or stopping their vehicles to film or photograph the situation after hearing the warning messages. NCEMA stressed that such actions endanger lives and undermine public safety efforts.

“The warning is issued for your safety,” the authority said, urging residents to seek shelter immediately and remain in a safe location until an official all-clear confirms that the danger has passed.

Motorists who receive alerts while driving are advised to continue to their destination and, upon arrival, head directly to the nearest safe shelter.

NCEMA cautioned that failing to follow these instructions could lead to legal consequences.

The authority called on the public to fully comply with safety directives to protect themselves and safeguard the wider community.
