Passengers are advised not to travel unless contacted; rebooking and refunds are available.

Etihad Airways has extended the suspension of all scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi until 2:00 PM UAE time on Wednesday, March 4, due to ongoing regional airspace disruptions.

Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport unless they have been directly contacted by the airline with confirmed instructions.

Guidance for Travellers:

  • Check Flight Status: Verify your flight at etihad.com before heading to the airport.
  • Update Contact Details: Ensure your booking has your current contact information.
  • Rebooking: Guests with tickets issued on or before 28 February 2026, for travel up to 7 March, can rebook free of charge on Etihad-operated flights until 18 March.
  • Refunds: Refund requests for flights up to 7 March can be submitted via Etihad’s online form or through travel agents.
  • High Call Volumes: Etihad cautioned about long waiting times and encouraged passengers seeking refunds to use the online form to avoid delays.

The airline reiterated that safety remains its top priority, and services will resume only once all safety criteria are met.
