UAE weather: Fair to partly cloudy skies with a red alert issued for dense fog

Residents across the United Arab Emirates can expect fair to partly cloudy weather on Saturday, February 21, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

A red alert for dense fog has been issued from 12:32 am to 10:00 am.

Temperatures across the United Arab Emirates could reach a high of 31ºC in some areas and drop to a low of 11ºC in others.

In Abu Dhabi, temperatures are expected to range between 20ºC and 31ºC, while Dubai will see a high of 30ºC and a low of 18ºC.

Conditions are expected to be humid overnight and on Sunday morning, with fog and mist forming over some coastal and inland areas.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the northeast to northwest at 10–20 km/h, occasionally strengthening to 35 km/h.

The sea will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
