Combating Covid-19: Private schools in Sharjah refund transportation fees

Date:

Private schools in Sharjah are refunding transportation fees to students’ families.

The move is in line with the continuing efforts by the school authorities to address parental concerns regarding conveyance fees, as children continue to pursue distance learning from their homes across the UAE.

Parents had repeatedly requested for a partial fee waiver or offer needful relaxations during this period as students are not availing the school transportation facilities at all.

It’s said these directives are aimed at balancing the needs of parents and school in these unprecedented times.

A waiver of school transportation fees in Dubai was announced by the KHDA last week.
