Level 3 advisory remains in place as authorities issue nationwide warnings.

The U.S. Mission to the United Arab Emirates has warned American citizens about “potential aerial threats,” advising them to follow instructions from UAE authorities and be prepared to take shelter if necessary.
The alert follows nationwide mobile warnings issued by the UAE Ministry of Interior, with officials earlier confirming that the country was targeted by Iranian missiles and drones.
A Level 3 “Reconsider Travel” advisory remains in place from the U.S. Department of State, urging citizens to exercise heightened caution while in the United Arab Emirates.
Officials said the situation is being closely monitored, with further updates expected as developments unfold.
Embassy operations scaled back
The U.S. Embassy Abu Dhabi and U.S. Consulate General Dubai remain open but are operating under an ordered-departure status, with non-essential personnel relocated outside the country.
Routine visa services remain suspended, while emergency consular assistance continues to be available.
Focus on preparedness
U.S. authorities have urged citizens in the United Arab Emirates to remain vigilant, follow official updates, and be prepared for potential shelter-in-place situations.
Precautionary guidance includes staying away from windows during incidents, keeping emergency supplies ready, and maintaining regular communication with family members and relevant authorities.
