UAE Weather Update: Rain Expected Until Thursday, with Temperatures Climbing to 43°C

Date:

UAE Weather Alert: Convective Clouds, Dusty Conditions and Fog Forecast as Winds Gust Up to 45 km/h.

Dubai: Parts of the UAE are expected to experience rainfall from Monday (October 12) to Thursday (October 15), accompanied by convective cloud formation, dusty conditions and fog, as the country faces a period of unstable weather, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Monday’s weather is expected to remain generally fair to partly cloudy, with convective clouds forming over eastern regions and possibly spreading to some inland areas during the afternoon, increasing the likelihood of rain.

Temperatures are forecast to climb as high as 43°C in inland regions, while coastal areas and islands could experience maximum temperatures of around 40°C.

Temperatures in mountainous regions are expected to reach approximately 33°C.

Winds will generally remain light to moderate but may strengthen near convective clouds, leading to dusty conditions. Wind speeds could reach up to 45 km/h in mountainous regions, 40 km/h in inland areas and 35 km/h across coastal areas and islands.

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and into Tuesday morning, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist formation in parts of the western regions.

Rainfall Expected to Continue

On Tuesday (October 13), convective clouds are likely to form over eastern and western parts of the UAE during the afternoon, bringing a possibility of rainfall.

Winds may strengthen to 40 km/h near cloud formations, potentially causing blowing dust and reduced visibility.

Fog or mist could also develop across some western regions by Wednesday morning.

Similar weather conditions are anticipated on Wednesday (October 14), with convective clouds potentially bringing showers to eastern and western areas.

Humidity is expected to increase overnight, creating favourable conditions for fog or mist across certain coastal and inland regions.

On Thursday (October 15), convective clouds may develop over eastern and southern parts of the country during the afternoon, with a possibility of rainfall. Winds could once again reach speeds of 40 km/h, resulting in dusty conditions.

By Friday, weather conditions are expected to become relatively more stable, although occasional convective cloud development remains possible over eastern and southern regions.

Fog or mist may continue to develop overnight and persist into Saturday morning in some areas.

Meanwhile, sea conditions are expected to remain calm to slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea throughout the forecast period.
