Dusty Conditions and Winds of Up to 40 km/h Forecast Across UAE This Week.

The UAE is set to experience generally fair but hot and dusty weather in the coming days, with temperatures expected to climb to as high as 47°C in inland areas and wind speeds reaching up to 40 km/h, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM said fair conditions will prevail across most parts of the country on Monday, although low clouds are expected to develop over eastern regions. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will occasionally strengthen during the day, stirring dust and causing the Arabian Gulf to become rough by the afternoon. Sea conditions in the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight to moderate.
Temperatures are expected to remain high across the UAE, with maximums ranging between 42°C and 47°C in inland areas. Coastal regions and islands are forecast to see highs of 36°C to 42°C, while mountainous areas can expect comparatively cooler conditions, with temperatures ranging from 32°C to 38°C.
The hottest conditions are likely to be recorded in the interior parts of the country, where residents are advised to take precautions against heat exposure, particularly during the afternoon hours.
The weather is expected to remain largely fair through Friday, although periods of fresh winds could stir up dust and sand, leading to reduced visibility in some areas.
According to the forecast, winds will generally range between 10 and 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/h at times. These conditions may create dusty spells, particularly in exposed and inland areas.
Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to vary between slight, moderate and rough during the week, while conditions in the Oman Sea will remain relatively calmer. Residents and mariners are advised to monitor weather updates, especially during periods of stronger winds and rough seas.
