UAE traffic update: Morning delays reported around Dubai South, DWC and Sharjah Border.

Date:

Morning congestion slows traffic on key Dubai roads; motorists urged to allow extra travel time.

Dubai: Motorists across the emirate faced a mixed start to Tuesday, July 14, with pockets of heavy traffic reported in both southern and northern areas, according to live traffic updates.

Dubai South and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)

Motorists travelling towards Dubai South via Emirates Road (E311) and D53 are experiencing delays near the interchange close to Dubai South Sales Centre and the Dubai South Commercial District.

Traffic congestion is building along the route towards Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), and drivers heading in this direction are advised to allow additional travel time.

Business Bay and Ras Al Khor

Traffic conditions remain largely smooth around Business Bay, Dubai Design District and Ras Al Khor, with major routes including Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), Al Ain Road (E66) and Emirates Road (E311) moving freely.

Minor slowdowns have been reported near the D68/E11 junction around Business Bay and Dubai Design District, but no major disruptions are affecting the area. A brief delay has also been observed near the E44 junction close to Ras Al Khor, likely due to normal traffic signal patterns rather than an incident.

Dubai-Sharjah border

The heaviest congestion this morning is being reported along the Dubai-Sharjah corridor. Sheikh Zayed Road/Al Ittihad Road (E11) is seeing significant slowdowns near Al Mamzar Beach Park and Bu Shagara towards Sharjah, with additional traffic build-up around Sahara Centre.

Drivers using Sharjah’s internal road network, especially around Madina Mall and the S112/S116 corridor near Al Khawaneej and Muhaisnah, should also expect delays, with congested stretches indicating stop-and-go traffic in both directions.

Motorists heading towards DWC, Sharjah, or the Muhaisnah and Al Khawaneej areas during the morning rush are advised to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, or use alternative routes where possible. Traffic conditions can change quickly, so drivers are encouraged to check live navigation updates before starting their journeys.
