Dubai: The UAE is set for another hot day on Friday, with temperatures forecast to reach up to 46°C in inland areas, while generally fair conditions are expected across the country, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

The forecast indicates clear to partly fair skies in most regions, with humid conditions expected overnight and into Saturday morning over some western coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast, and may occasionally reach speeds of up to 30 km/h.

Daytime temperatures are expected to range from 40°C to 46°C in inland areas, 37°C to 43°C along coastal and island regions, and 31°C to 36°C in mountainous areas. The Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are forecast to remain relatively calm.

Over the coming week, weather conditions are expected to remain largely stable into early next week, although humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning hours, raising the chance of mist or fog in some coastal and inland areas.

On Saturday, fair weather is forecast to continue, with northwesterly winds occasionally strengthening to around 40 km/h. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may turn slight to moderate.

By Sunday and Monday, skies are expected to be partly cloudy at times over eastern areas, while humidity is likely to persist overnight and into the early morning hours. Winds will remain light to moderate, occasionally freshening to around 35 km/h.

On Tuesday, cloud cover is expected to increase over eastern regions during the afternoon, while mist may form in some coastal areas by Wednesday morning. Temperatures will stay seasonally high, with generally calm to moderate sea conditions continuing in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
