‘Growth’ platform designed to consolidate business data and accelerate digital transformation.
Dubai: The Ministry of Economy and Tourism has accelerated efforts to integrate the National Economic Register (NER), known as “Growth”, with licensing authorities across the UAE as part of its broader initiative to strengthen the country’s digital economic infrastructure.
The ministry conducted a technical workshop that brought together 90 representatives from 33 federal and local government entities, licensing bodies and free zones to enhance digital connectivity and streamline the exchange of economic data.
The National Economic Register is a federal digital platform overseen by the ministry, designed to establish a unified and trusted database of economic establishments operating across the UAE.
Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Entrepreneurship and Economic Affairs at the ministry, said the platform covers more than 4,000 economic activities and provides government entities, businesses and investors with reliable data to support informed decision-making.
The workshop also examined the technical requirements for linking licensing information with the platform, including economic licences, industrial facility details and corporate financial data. The integration aims to enhance data accuracy, reduce manual procedures and improve the efficiency of government services.
