Police and traffic authorities have issued a warning on their social media account to take extra care on roads due to low visibility caused by dusty weather across the UAE on Wednesday.
The strong winds are expected to blow in dust and reduce visibility with a reduction in road visibility to less than 2,000 metres.
Sharjah Police have tweeted out a warning about an accident on Al Ittihad Road towards Dubai this morning.
“Traffic congestion due to an accident on Al Ittihad Road towards Dubai, kindly take extra cautious and alternative ways,” Sharjah Police tweeted.
