Users Advised to Plan Transactions Ahead of Brief MoI App Downtime.
Abu Dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced that its smart app will be temporarily unavailable during the early hours of Sunday as scheduled updates are carried out on the platform.
According to an announcement shared through the ministry’s official social media channels, the app will be offline on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2am to 5am.
The ministry said the temporary suspension is required to complete updates to the application, with services expected to resume once the scheduled maintenance work is finished.
Residents who rely on the app to access ministry services are encouraged to complete any urgent transactions either before or after the three-hour maintenance period to avoid inconvenience.
