Company Showcases AI-Powered Automated Grading Technology at Ai Everything Abu Dhabi 2026.

Teachers may soon be able to dedicate more time to classroom instruction and individual student support, thanks to a new artificial intelligence-powered grading solution introduced by UAE-based education technology company Alef Education.
The company unveiled its AI Auto Grading technology at Ai Everything Abu Dhabi 2026, an event that concluded on October 7.
The innovative solution uses artificial intelligence to simplify and accelerate the assessment process, helping educators manage routine grading responsibilities more efficiently.
According to Alef Education, the technology generated considerable interest among event attendees, particularly education and technology professionals from the Gulf region, Africa and Asia.
Helping Teachers Spend More Time with Students
Alef Education explained that AI Auto Grading has been developed to reduce the time teachers spend on administrative duties, enabling them to focus more on classroom teaching and providing additional assistance to students.
By streamlining assessment tasks, the technology could allow educators to better address individual learning requirements and encourage greater student participation in lessons.
Geoffrey Alphonso, Chief Executive Officer of Alef Education, emphasised that artificial intelligence should complement the work of teachers rather than replace them.
He explained that AI’s greatest potential in education lies in enhancing teaching practices, improving student learning outcomes and delivering long-term benefits across educational institutions.
Alphonso also highlighted that the company’s technology solutions are designed to accommodate different educational systems while addressing the evolving requirements of both teachers and learners.
AI-Powered Solutions to Enhance Learning
In addition to AI Auto Grading, Alef Education introduced several other digital learning solutions, including Alef Teacher Studio, Alef AI Insights and Alef Pathways.
These platforms aim to provide educators with deeper insights into student progress, support personalised learning approaches and highlight areas where additional academic assistance may be required.
The company also showcased its AI Literacy Programme, an initiative designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to use artificial intelligence safely, effectively and responsibly.
Alef Education stressed that its technology-driven approach prioritises improving educational experiences while ensuring teachers continue to oversee essential academic decisions.
Nearly Two Million Students Registered
Alef Education currently serves approximately two million registered students across nearly 20,000 schools, reflecting the scale of its presence in the education technology sector.
Throughout the two-day event, Alef Education engaged with officials and representatives from government bodies, educational institutions and technology organisations to explore opportunities for integrating artificial intelligence solutions into various education systems.
The company noted that the strong interest expressed by participants highlights the increasing demand for AI-powered educational technologies that can enhance teaching effectiveness, improve student learning experiences and minimise repetitive administrative tasks for teachers.
