UAE Coronavirus upate: 1,311 Covid-19 cases, 1,495 recoveries, 2 deaths

More than 19.8 million Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the UAE so far.

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Thursday reported 1,311 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,495 recoveries.

Two deaths were also reported.

As many as new 138,914 Covid-19 tests were carried out, taking the total number of tests carried out in the country to nearly 19.8 million so far.

Residents started receiving the rollout of free Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines in Dubai on Thursday. Dubai Media Office released an inspirational video of the first five recipients of the vaccine, which was launched in Dubai on Wednesday.

The vaccination is available at six DHA health facilities, including Zabeel Primary Health Care Centre, Al Mizhar Primary Health Care Centre, Nadd Al Hamar Primary Health Care Centre, Barsha Primary Health Care Centre, Uptown Mirdif Medical Fitness Centre and Hatta Hospital.
