Passengers booked on cancelled SQ494 and SQ495 flights can claim full refunds.

Dubai: Singapore Airlines (SIA) has suspended flights between Singapore and Dubai until February 28, 2027, citing the ongoing geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
In an advisory issued on Friday, the airline said the suspension affects two services: SQ494 from Singapore to Dubai and the return service, SQ495, from Dubai to Singapore.
SIA cautioned that further flight disruptions may occur as the situation remains fluid. Passengers have been advised to check the airline’s Flight Status page for the latest updates.
Refunds for affected passengers
Passengers whose flights have been cancelled are eligible for a full refund on the unused portion of their tickets.
Customers who booked directly with SIA can submit refund requests through the airline’s online Assistance Request Form. Those who purchased tickets through travel agents or partner airlines should contact their respective agents or the airline they booked with.
Stay updated
The airline has also urged passengers to ensure their contact details are current through the ‘Manage Booking’ section of its website. Alternatively, they can sign up for its mobile notification service to receive updates on flight status.
“SIA apologises to all affected customers for the inconvenience caused,” the airline said.
