After five years apart, she has begun the process of bringing her daughter from Nigeria to the UAE.

Dubai: A Big Ticket win has brought a Sharjah-based Nigerian mother closer to fulfilling her greatest wish: reuniting with her daughter after five years apart.
Margaret Jemituwi, a 34-year-old copywriter who has lived in Sharjah for the past five years, was among the six winners of Dear Big Ticket Season 4.
For Jemituwi, the win carries deeply personal significance. While she lives in the UAE, her daughter remains in Nigeria. The years spent apart have been difficult, and she has long hoped to bring her family together so that all her children can grow up under the same roof.
‘It felt like a dream’
When Margaret received the news of her win, she was overwhelmed with happiness and struggled to believe that her long-held wish could finally become a reality.
“I was so happy, it felt like a dream. I couldn’t believe that something I had wished for so deeply was finally becoming possible,” said Jemituwi.
Since receiving the news, she has told her daughter about the win and started the process of bringing her to the UAE.
A message of hope
Sharing a message with others who may have wishes of their own, Jemituwi encouraged people to give Big Ticket a try.
“I just want everyone to know that Big Ticket is real and there is no harm in trying. You never know, your wish might come true too,” she said.
Six winners announced for Season 4
Jemituwi was among the final six winners announced after weeks of public voting and support from communities across the region.
Each winner received Dh100,000 as part of the fourth season of the Dear Big Ticket campaign, which aims to help people fulfil meaningful personal wishes.
The campaign has showcased the stories behind these aspirations, ranging from family reunions to other life-changing goals, highlighting the difference that making a wish come true can make to individuals and their loved ones.
