SEWA announces 50% discount on deposit amount.

Date:

The reduction is in response to requests raised by the members of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Villas and independent houses in Sharjah will now be required to pay just half the deposit amount for services, said a top official at the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) on Sunday.

The 50 per cent reduction in deposit amount is in response to requests raised by the members of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, according to the Mubasher website.

“The authority has launched various initiatives to help the sector, including efficiency-related initiatives, leak-detecting, smart meters and pay bills with installments,” said the official.

He added that all customers can send their suggestions using the Sewa website.
