Dubai: Veteran Saudi singer Mohammed Abdu will scale back his musical engagements in the coming period due to health and personal reasons, his office announced, while affirming his ongoing commitment to major national events.

Badr Mohammed Abdu, director of the artist’s office, said the legendary performer will adjust his concert schedule according to his circumstances, ensuring that national occasions remain a priority.

Dubbed “The Artist of the Arabs,” Mohammed Abdu has built a decades-long career closely tied to major public celebrations and official events in Saudi Arabia and across the Arab world. His performances have become a hallmark of cultural occasions, reflecting Saudi identity.

The statement emphasized that the singer places exceptional importance on these events and will continue to participate in them under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
