Both sides discussed bilateral ties, regional stability, and shared goals for strengthening cooperation.
Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman conveyed to the UAE President the greetings of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity. In return, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed asked him to convey his greetings to the Emir of Qatar, along with his wishes for further development and prosperity for Qatar and its people.
The two sides discussed fraternal relations and ways to enhance cooperation in support of mutual interests and the prosperity of both nations and their peoples.
The meeting also reviewed regional developments and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani reaffirmed Qatar’s condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian facilities in the UAE, stressing Qatar’s solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security and the safety of its people.
The meeting was attended by several senior UAE officials and dignitaries, including Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, along with a number of sheikhs, ministers and officials.
