A passenger in the minibus was taken to hospital with serious injuries
A minibus driver died instantly after a lorry flipped on top of his vehicle.
A second person, a passenger in the minibus, sustained serious injuries.
Police, civil defence and ambulance crews attended the incident in Umm Al Quwain on Sunday.
The surviving passenger had to be extricated from the minibus using cutting equipment before being taken to Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital.
Police did not release further details.
