Man looks so much like Michael Jackson that people want him to take DNA test

Date:

Fans want him to get a DNA test to prove he is not the legendary pop singer himself.

‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson died in 2009 but his lookalike’s uncanny resemblance has driven fans to believe he still alive and living as an impersonator of his former self.

Sergio Cortes is a mirror image of Michael Jackson so much so that fans want him to get a DNA test to prove he is not the legendary pop singer himself.

Jackson’s ‘alive’ theory spread like wildfire after Cortes uploaded the latest video of himself last week. In the video, Cortes tells his followers about his new gig in Thailand. He says in the video: ‘Hello to all Michael Jackson fans, come and watch me perform at Pattaya on December 23. I love you guys and I’ll see you there, I am Sergio Cortes – I’ll see you soon’.

In spite of the absolute resemblance, there are few things that indicate Cortes is not Jackson himself like the Spanish accent and his younger looks,

The lookalike clarified on his Facebook page he realised only after a journalist pointed out his striking resemblance to Jackson. “When I was finishing high school in 1987, a journalist observed that I was similar [to Michael Jackson] and asked me why I didn’t put on makeup like he did in a report for a magazine,” Cortes said.

He further added, “Then, two weeks later, they called me some Swiss producers who promoted Michael Jackson perfume to use my image. It was all coincidental that my fanaticism has become my working life.”

However, Michael Jackson fans have inundated the video with comments claiming that Jackson was ‘alive’. One fan wrote: ‘I love you Michael, my Michael has come back. We love you’. While another wrote: ‘I am convinced you are Michael Jackson himself’.
