A child was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident in Al Mamzar park area, The accident happened last week when a motorist rammed into a child, who was with his family, and escaped, a source said.
The source added that another accident took place last week when a car driver tried to overtake another vehicle from the right shoulder of the street on Emirates Road. The motorist couldn’t stop his car when he suddenly found a truck stopping on the shoulder and crashed into it.
In a separate incident, two motorists were injured last week when one of them jumped the red signal and hit the other vehicle in Al Barsha south. Both sustained injuries in the mishap.
