Hamidi launches SAMAA perfume oil at Dubai’s ‘Hydrate with Hamidi’ summer soirée

Date:

Since 2005, HAMIDI has elevated fragrance into an immersive sensory journey, creating scents that engage beyond the sense of smell.

Dubai: Where the artistry of painting meets the craft of perfumery, HAMIDI brought the two worlds together at its recently hosted Sip & Paint Summer Soirée — an intimate afternoon that blended creativity, fragrance and self-expression into a memorable sensory experience.

Celebrating the essence of 0% alcohol fragrances, the exclusive event marked the launch of HAMIDI’s latest Perfume Oil, SAMAA. Since its founding in 2005, HAMIDI has spent more than two decades redefining the fragrance experience, moving beyond a single application to create a thoughtful, layered approach to scent that evolves uniquely with each wearer.

Today, HAMIDI’s vision has expanded well beyond its origins, reaching more than 65 countries worldwide and establishing the brand as a recognised name in non-alcoholic, skin-friendly fragrances. At the core of its philosophy is a simple idea: fragrance is not merely something to wear, but a personal ritual and an expression of individual identity.

True to its name, SAMAA reflects the harmony between luxury, joy and nature. The afternoon event highlighted the collection’s focus on hydration, showcasing a refreshed approach to fragrance that is especially suited for the warmer months.

The afternoon was designed around hydration, creativity and fragrance, inviting guests to immerse themselves in colours while discovering the essence of SAMAA. As sustainability and cleaner ingredients become increasingly important considerations across industries, SAMAA stands out with its 0% alcohol formulation and oil-based composition, offering an alternative to traditional Eau de Parfum formats while aligning with evolving preferences for more conscious fragrance choices.

Guests were welcomed with fresh coconuts on arrival, while a bright, rosy fragrance filled the setting, creating an atmosphere of effortless elegance. As attendees picked up their paintbrushes, dipped colours into water and began transforming blank canvases into works of art, the carefully designed décor encouraged them to slow down, embrace the moment and fully immerse themselves in the experience — much like the feeling of hydration itself.

Sip slowly, paint thoughtfully and let your imagination flow freely across the canvas.

The event also highlighted the themes of longevity and nourishment. With refreshing hydrating beverages served throughout the afternoon, the concept reflected SAMAA’s core philosophy — creating an experience that engages both the senses and the soul.

After guests completed their artwork, HAMIDI hosted a Rituals Session, where the team introduced attendees to the art of fragrance layering. The session explored how different scents blend with the skin to create a personalised fragrance experience, with each individual developing a unique scent signature. In the end, everyone carries their own version of SAMAA on their skin.

Interactive fragrance discovery stations allowed guests to explore the collection’s distinctive scent profile, understand its formulation and experience how hydration can enhance fragrance performance. The launch encouraged guests to view fragrance not just as a finishing touch, but as an extension of self-care, personal expression and everyday wellness.

The event went beyond a traditional product launch, becoming a celebration of mindful luxury. By bringing together creativity, wellness and the artistry of perfumery, the Sip & Paint gathering showcased a contemporary approach to beauty — one that embraces both artistic expression and authenticity.

As guests left with their own SAMAA-inspired paintings, cherished memories and new fragrance discoveries, the soirée highlighted the idea that the most meaningful experiences are those that refresh every sense. The celebration served as a reminder that moments of creativity and self-care can leave a lasting impression, long after the final brushstroke has dried.
