Strong demand has reinforced the emirate’s position as an emerging international tourism hub.

FUJAIRAH: Fujairah’s hospitality sector recorded peak occupancy at the start of 2026, with hotel occupancy rates reaching between 95% and 100%.

The emirate experienced a significant rise in visitor numbers, driven by its distinctive mountainous landscapes and expanding leisure offerings.

According to the Fujairah Department of Tourism and Antiquities, these figures reflect the steady growth of the local tourism industry.

Officials said the surge highlights the success of government efforts to diversify tourism experiences and strengthen the emirate’s international appeal.

These strong performance indicators are expected to encourage further investment in infrastructure and the expansion of recreational facilities across the region.
