Everyone is responsible, health top priority: Sheikh Mohammed

Date:

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday urged all residents, companies and institutions to stay responsible as offices reopen and economic activities resume.

Chairing a virtual Cabinet meeting on the first day as government employees resumed working from their office premises, he said: “We are starting a new phase, everyone is responsible, and all establishments and institutions should protect their own people. Health will remain our top priority, and continuing the economic life is important strategy.”

“We say to everyone: Life goes on, accomplishments will continue. The experience has made us stronger and faster. We need new spirit to face the future, and a new way of thinking, a more flexible and smarter way of working,” he added.

Sheikh Mohammed said that the meeting discussed the processes of making employees return to the offices, as well as the future methods of governmental work.

He said that a team was formed to improve the smart judicial services, including techniques and legislatives, and another team to study the society’s culture in the near future, as well as a new policy to improve the effectiveness of the governmental finances and payments in the future.
