The world’s largest international airline has announced new daily flights to one of Southeast Asia’s most popular holiday destinations.
Emirates is launching a third daily service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Phuket, Thailand.
The additional service will increase the airline’s operations to 21 flights a week between the UAE and Thailand’s largest island.
Emirates will serve Phuket with 21 weekly flights using a combination of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.
The new service, EK390, departs Dubai at 10:40pm and arrives in Phuket at 8:10am the following day. The return flight, EK391, leaves Phuket at 10am and lands in Dubai at 1:05pm. All times are local.
Known for its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, vibrant nightlife, and easy access to nearby islands, Phuket remains one of Thailand’s most sought-after holiday destinations.
The additional daily service will give travellers greater flexibility, including an early morning arrival in Phuket that is ideal for passengers connecting through Dubai from European cities such as Manchester, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Frankfurt, as well as from Kuwait and Bahrain.
The new flight also improves onward connectivity from Phuket to destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including Madrid, Munich, Birmingham, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Edinburgh, Zurich, and Amman.
The route will also introduce Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to Phuket on its Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
The A350-900 operating the service features 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats.
Passengers can also enjoy Emirates’ latest onboard products and award-winning service, including wireless charging in Business Class, electronically controlled window blinds with the airline’s Ghaf tree design in premium cabins, digital in-flight menus on the ice entertainment system, and other upgraded features.
The expanded service gives Dubai travellers even more options for visiting Thailand, following flydubai’s launch of new routes to the Southeast Asian country earlier this month.
