Eid Al Adha holiday: UAE stock markets to close, with trading resuming on this date.

Earlier, the UAE announced a five-day Eid Al Adha holiday for public sector employees, running from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29.

The UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority has announced that the Eid Al Adha holiday for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market will run from May 26 to May 29, 2026.

Trading and operations will resume on Monday, June 1.

Earlier, the UAE announced a five-day Eid Al Adha holiday for public sector employees, from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29, 2026. When combined with the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), this results in a nine-day extended break.

However, private sector employees in the UAE will receive a four-day paid holiday from May 26 to Friday, May 29, 2026. For those who already observe Saturday and Sunday as their weekend, this will amount to a six-day break.
