The new DMCC cybersecurity vertical is set to support more than 200 cybersecurity companies.

Dubai: DMCC has launched DMCC Cyber, a dedicated cybersecurity vertical, following its technology sector surpassing 4,000 companies and becoming the largest and fastest-growing segment in the business district.
The new vertical will support over 200 cybersecurity companies working across cyber resilience, digital trust, data protection, identity, and governance, risk, and compliance.
DMCC Cyber has been introduced alongside DMCC Tech, a broader technology platform that consolidates the district’s specialist centres and tech communities.
“Technology has become the largest and fastest-growing sector in our business district, reflecting Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and high-growth businesses,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC. “As the community has expanded, the need for more specialised platforms supporting different segments of the technology economy has also grown. DMCC Tech brings these communities together under one ecosystem, while DMCC Cyber highlights the rising importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly digital world.”
AI, crypto, gaming and cyber under one umbrella
DMCC Cyber joins the DMCC AI Centre, DMCC Crypto Centre, and DMCC Gaming Centre under the broader DMCC Tech platform, with DMCC Quantum expected to follow.
The platform provides technology companies access to DMCC’s wider ecosystem of more than 26,000 member companies spanning global trade, finance, commodities, and emerging technologies.
DMCC said the ecosystem already includes companies such as CrowdStrike, PwC, CYFIRMA, and FPT Software, reflecting its scale and international reach in the technology sector.
Space economy also in focus
DMCC Tech covers artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain, gaming, and other emerging technologies, while also expanding into the fast-growing space economy.
The district said developments in satellites, Earth observation, and space-derived data are transforming industries such as trade, finance, logistics, and resource management.
