ChatGPT and Claude Gain Access to Live ADX Stock Data for UAE Investors

Date:

Free plans give investors access to live prices, market depth and trading flows.

Dubai: Investors can now access official Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange market data through AI platforms including ChatGPT and Claude, allowing them to check prices, trading activity, company disclosures and market flows using natural-language queries.

ADX said it is the first stock exchange in the Middle East and North Africa to offer direct access to live market data through major conversational AI platforms and other large language models.

The service operates through a Model Context Protocol server that users can configure within compatible AI applications. This allows investors to access exchange data without relying on specialist market terminals or building complex technical connections.

What investors can access

Users can retrieve market-depth data for individual stocks, including bid and ask information and price-discovery signals. They can also access trading statistics showing activity across retail and institutional investors, as well as foreign and local investors.

The service also offers structured XBRL financial disclosures, index constituents and other related reference data.

Retail investors can use natural-language prompts to access official market information through compatible AI platforms once the connection is configured. Brokers, research firms and fintech developers can use the same infrastructure to build analytical tools and AI-powered assistants.

Institutional investors will also have access to order-book data and segmented trading flows through the service.

By removing technical barriers that once required a specific setup, everyone now has live access to ADX data through simple prompts. We believe this will contribute to greater market transparency, wider financial participation and a more accessible investment ecosystem.

Free and paid plans

ADX is offering four subscription tiers, starting with a free option and going up to Dh49.99 a month.

The plans vary by usage limits, data refresh frequency, access to historical information and the number of simultaneous connections allowed.

The exchange said the tiered model is designed to broaden access to market information while providing users with data access suited to their individual needs.

New route to official exchange data

The initiative gives investors another way to access official exchange data as AI tools become increasingly popular for researching companies and financial markets.

Developers and research firms can integrate the feed into customised research and analytics platforms, while brokers can use it to create branded AI assistants powered by official ADX data.
