Cars24 partners with Alba Cars to expand its footprint in the UAE automotive market

Date:

The partnership aims to leverage their combined strengths to drive growth and strengthen their presence across the region.

Cars24 and Alba Cars have officially announced a strategic partnership, marking a major development for both established automotive businesses and opening new avenues for expansion in the UAE market.

Founded in 2015, the two companies bring complementary capabilities to the partnership. Cars24 contributes its global automotive technology platform, financing solutions and extensive infrastructure, while Alba Cars adds its strong presence in the premium retail segment, established customer relationships, digital marketing expertise and recognised UAE brand.

Together, the companies retail more than 1,000 vehicles every month across the UAE, creating one of the country’s major automotive retail operations, with plans to expand their footprint across the wider region.

Over the past 11 years, Alba Cars has established itself as a recognised name in Dubai’s premium used car market. The company employs more than 200 professionals, sells approximately 300 vehicles monthly and offers an extensive inventory covering more than 20 automotive brands.

Cars24, meanwhile, has built an international presence across India, the UAE and Australia. Its operations are supported by significant investments in technology, vehicle financing, refurbishment services and automotive infrastructure.

The partnership is expected to combine the convenience of digital automotive services with Alba Cars’ established retail expertise, brand recognition and customer-focused approach, creating opportunities for both businesses to strengthen their market positions.

Customers are expected to benefit from a wider selection of vehicles, improved financing solutions, enhanced aftersales services and a more streamlined experience across vehicle buying, selling and ownership.

Leadership perspectives

Abhinav Gupta, CEO of Cars24 Arabia, said:

“Alba Cars has built an impressive business and an exceptional reputation in the UAE’s premium automotive market. Their experience, customer relationships and understanding of the local market complement the technology, infrastructure and scale we have developed at Cars24.

“We share a strong vision for the future and see this as an important step towards our ambition of building one of the largest automotive businesses in the region. I’m excited about what our teams can achieve together.”

Talib Alrubai, Founder and CEO of Alba Cars, said:

“Alba Cars started in 2015 with a clear vision, and over the past eleven years we’ve built it into a brand recognised and trusted by thousands of customers across the UAE.

“We’ve worked incredibly hard to get to where we are today, and joining forces with Cars24 represents an exciting next chapter for us.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Our teams are closely aligned in their vision, and combining what we’ve built at Alba Cars with Cars24’s technology, infrastructure and international experience gives us an opportunity to take the business to an entirely new level.”

“I’m incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished so far and look forward to what we can achieve together.”

Looking ahead

The partnership will focus on scaling automotive retail operations, enhancing digital capabilities and investing in infrastructure to drive further growth across the UAE.

As part of the transaction, the operating businesses behind Alba Cars have become part of the wider Cars24 global group.

Alba Cars will continue to operate under its established brand, retaining its existing team and leadership. Meanwhile, selected support functions and infrastructure will be gradually integrated with Cars24.

Both companies share a long-term vision of building a leading automotive platform by combining Cars24’s international technology and resources with Alba Cars’ local market expertise, established customer relationships and retail experience.
