The new facility features cold storage and freezer units to support pharmaceutical supply chains.

Dubai: Logistics company Aramex announced on Tuesday the opening of its first dedicated regional healthcare and pharmaceutical hub in the Dubai South Free Zone.
Aramex stated that the announcement follows the warehouse receiving certification from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.
The company said the facility is designed to support healthcare and pharmaceutical businesses seeking to leverage the Free Zone’s strategic location and infrastructure.
Fadi Azzi, Senior Logistics Director at Aramex, said, “With the launch of our dedicated healthcare hub, we are raising the bar for pharmaceutical logistics in the region. Our aim is to offer healthcare partners a resilient, compliant, and fully integrated supply chain, enabling them to serve patients faster, safer, and more reliably.”
What’s in the Hub?
Covering 5,600 square metres, the hub features temperature-controlled environments, including ambient storage, cold rooms, and freezer units, designed to meet a wide range of pharmaceutical requirements.
The facility provides end-to-end logistics services—freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and last-mile delivery—all within a single integrated operation.
Aramex stated that the hub is built to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards and backed by ISO-certified quality systems. It is fully certified by the UAE Ministry of Health, ensuring a regulated environment that preserves product integrity.
The company added that the new hub reinforces its presence in the GCC and addresses the region’s growing demand for temperature-controlled pharmaceutical supply chains.
