Foundation Expands Access to Lifesaving Cancer Treatment for Children in Dubai.
Dubai: Al Jalila Foundation has provided Dh19.25 million to support cancer treatment for 297 children since 2015, underscoring its ongoing efforts to ensure young patients have access to essential medical care.
The figures were announced as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which is observed every September to raise awareness about childhood cancers and the importance of timely treatment and support.
Al Jalila Foundation supports Dubai Health’s vision of advancing health for humanity by contributing to an integrated approach built around Care, Learning, Discovery and Giving.
Through its patient support programmes, the Foundation helps children access essential treatment and ensures they can continue receiving the medical care they require.
In February 2026, Al Jalila Foundation launched The Cancer Fund, a dedicated initiative aimed at financing cancer treatment for children and supporting continuity of care throughout their treatment journey.
At Dubai Health’s Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, young cancer patients receive comprehensive care from multidisciplinary medical teams, with specialists supporting them through each stage of their treatment.
