ADIHEX 2026 to feature 2,405 exhibitors and brands representing 71 countries across multiple sectors.
The biggest edition yet of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) will open on Friday, featuring 2,405 companies, brands and exhibitors from 71 countries.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the 23rd edition will take place from August 28 to September 6 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Organised by ADNEC Group, part of Modon, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the exhibition will be held over 10 days for the first time.
Record participation
The exhibition will span 107,000 square metres, marking a 17 per cent increase from last year. Participation has also risen by 17 per cent, with six countries making their debut at the event.
The 2025 edition welcomed 379,572 visitors and featured 2,068 brands from 68 countries.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, said the expansion highlights ADIHEX’s sustained growth over the past two decades.
The exhibition will bring together 15 specialised sectors, including falconry, camel and equestrian activities, Saluki dogs, hunting equipment, veterinary services, safari tourism, marine sports, camping, recreational vehicles, traditional arts and crafts, as well as environmental and heritage conservation.
The event will also feature 55 local and international falcon-breeding farms, including nine first-time participants, representing a 20 per cent increase compared with 2025.
In addition, eight specialised falcon auctions are scheduled, with four taking place ahead of the exhibition and four held during the event.
Focus on younger generations
Visitors can explore live demonstrations, interactive experiences and displays showcasing the latest products and technologies.
A dedicated children’s zone will host workshops designed to introduce young visitors to Emirati heritage, traditional arts and falconry, helping them connect with the country’s cultural traditions.
Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, said ADIHEX has evolved over more than two decades into a global platform that promotes sustainable hunting while bringing together heritage and innovation.
He added that the exhibition has supported the use of captive-bred falcons, helping ease pressure on wild populations and encourage more responsible hunting practices.
Preserving Emirati heritage
First launched in 2003, ADIHEX is marking another milestone this year as the exhibition coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
Al Mansouri said technology can help preserve cultural heritage rather than replace it, with exhibitors showcasing tracking systems, falcon training equipment and specialised veterinary services.
The exhibition will also showcase the UAE’s conservation efforts, including the Sheikh Zayed Falcon Release Programme.
Organisers said the event seeks to pass Emirati traditions on to younger generations while creating a global platform for cultural exchange, environmental conservation and innovation.
