Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police announced that they have arrested 375 individuals of various nationalities for filming sensitive locations and sharing misleading information about current events on social media.

Abu Dhabi Police stated that, despite repeated warnings, some individuals continued to disregard official instructions. Authorities emphasized that they would not hesitate to take strict legal action against anyone found spreading panic or attempting to mislead public opinion, describing such acts as offences punishable under the law.
Abu Dhabi Police also urged the public to verify information before sharing it, rely on official sources, and refrain from spreading rumours or unverified reports.
They added that community awareness and compliance with the law are essential for protecting lives and property, and for ensuring a safe and stable environment for all residents.
