ADJD assures lawyers that video consultations will follow the highest standards of privacy and security.
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has launched a new service that enables clients to consult with lawyers through approved video call applications.
The department said the service aims to simplify the consultation process by allowing both parties to communicate remotely without the need for in-person visits.
Key features of the service include:
- Multiple service channels designed to meet clients’ needs
- Digital submission and tracking of applications without the need to visit in person
- Support for Abu Dhabi’s advanced justice and litigation system
- A secure platform for communication between clients and lawyers
- Fast and scheduled appointment options for consultations
ADJD has assured lawyers that legal consultations conducted through the new service will follow “the highest standards of privacy and security.”
Channels to request video consultations with lawyers include:
- ADJD smart app
- ADJD law offices
- ADJD website
- Typing centres
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department continues to adopt advanced technologies to deliver faster, more efficient services and strengthen the emirate’s judicial system.
Earlier, ADJD announced plans to implement an AI Judicial Platform project — described as the world’s first integrated system of its kind — over an 18-month period starting in September 2026.
The AI platform will offer advanced capabilities through an integrated suite of smart solutions aimed at modernising judicial operations and improving procedural efficiency.
