4,786 new licences issued in Abu Dhabi in Q1 of 2020

68.3 per cent of the new licences issued were for individually owned businesses.

The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi (DED) has issued 4,786 new commercial licences during the first quarter of 2020.

“@AbuDhabiDED issued 4,786 new economic licences in Q1 of 2020. 3,272 were for individually owned organisations and 1,326 were Tajer licenses, reflecting the effectiveness of the government’s policies to facilitate business through incentives,” Abu Dhabi Media Office said on Twitter.

68.3 per cent of the new licences issued were for individually owned businesses.
