Dubai announces more than 400 new real estate job opportunities for Emiratis

Date:

Dubai Land Department initiatives generate over 2,100 jobs for Emiratis between 2023 and 2026, in collaboration with ministries and government entities.

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) is aiming to create more than 400 job opportunities for Emiratis in the real estate sector, with candidates also having the chance to attend on-the-spot interviews.

The department announced the initiative during the fourth edition of its ‘Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment’, which seeks to expand career opportunities for UAE nationals in the property industry. The latest target comes on top of the 2,100 employment opportunities generated over the past three years.

“DLD is playing a big role in supporting the real estate sector and bringing together strategic partners from academia and business to create the best opportunities for Emiratis,” Majid Saqr Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at Dubai Land Department, said.

Between 2023 and 2026, DLD initiatives helped generate more than 2,100 employment opportunities for Emiratis, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai.

More than 80 companies from across the real estate sector took part in the latest edition, looking to recruit potential employees.

Held at Address Sky View hotel on Thursday, the event gave university students and jobseekers an opportunity to connect with real estate companies, understand job requirements and explore career paths and long-term professional development prospects in the sector.

Dubai real estate projects record H1 growth

In the first half of 2026, the value of Dubai’s real estate transactions rose 52 per cent year-on-year to Dh111 billion.

Al Marri said the growth would support the sector and contribute to an increase in the number of developers and real estate companies operating in Dubai.

Dubai completed 104 real estate projects in 2026, marking a 38.7 per cent increase in the number of completed projects compared with 2025.

The emirate’s property sector also recorded year-on-year growth of 3.1 per cent in the first quarter of 2026, generating around Dh26 billion in gross value added, according to the Dubai Media Office.

During the same period, real estate accounted for 11.2 per cent of Dubai’s gross domestic product, while the emirate’s overall GDP grew by 2.4 per cent.
