Rain forecast over four days as temperatures hit 38°C.

Abu Dhabi: Parts of the UAE may receive rainfall on Friday, October 30, as convective clouds form over eastern and northern areas. Strong winds are also expected to stir up dust, while inland temperatures could reach 38°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Elsewhere, conditions are expected to remain fair to partly cloudy. Southeasterly to northeasterly winds will be light to moderate, becoming fresh to strong at times, particularly where clouds develop. Wind speeds are forecast to range from 10 to 25km/h, reaching 35km/h along the coast, 45km/h inland and 55km/h in mountainous areas.
Temperatures are likely to range between 33°C and 37°C along the coast and on islands, 35°C and 38°C inland, and 26°C and 32°C in the mountains.
Humidity levels could rise to 90 per cent in some coastal and inland areas. Conditions are expected to become humid overnight and into Saturday morning, particularly in western regions, where mist may develop.
The sea will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Rain chances to continue through Monday
Similar weather is forecast for Saturday, October 31, with convective clouds expected over eastern and northern areas, bringing further chances of rain. Winds may reach 45km/h at times, causing blowing dust.
On Sunday, November 1, rain remains possible in eastern and northern parts of the country. Humidity is expected to rise overnight and into Monday morning, with fog or mist potentially forming in some coastal and inland areas. Winds could reach speeds of 40km/h.
Unsettled conditions are expected to persist on Monday, November 2, with another possibility of rainfall over eastern and northern areas. Southeasterly winds may shift to northwesterly, reaching 40km/h at times and stirring up dust.
On Tuesday, November 3, the weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with no rain forecast by the NCM. Humidity will remain elevated overnight and into Wednesday morning, with fog or mist possible in some coastal and inland areas.
Winds could reach speeds of 35km/h, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may range from slight to moderate at times. The Oman Sea is expected to remain slight.
The NCM said the weather pattern is being driven by an extension of a surface low-pressure system, accompanied by an upper-level low-pressure system.
