SNOC Completes First Phase of Al Hadiba Gas Project, Strengthening UAE Energy Security.

Dubai: Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) has successfully completed the first phase of its Al Hadiba gas and condensate field development project, marking a significant milestone in the emirate’s efforts to expand its energy production capabilities.

The development is expected to more than double SNOC’s existing natural gas production, supporting Sharjah’s long-term energy security and strengthening its contribution to the UAE’s overall energy supply.

According to the corporation, the project’s progress will help accelerate plans to increase gas output throughout 2027, with the Al Hadiba field expected to achieve stable production levels by 2028.

Once operational at its targeted capacity, the field is anticipated to play an important role in addressing growing energy demand across the country.

Khamis Al Mazrouei, Chief Executive Officer of SNOC, highlighted the rapid completion of the project’s first phase, describing it as an important achievement that will support the UAE’s increasing energy requirements.

The Al Hadiba development forms part of Sharjah’s broader strategy to enhance natural gas production capacity, strengthen energy infrastructure and ensure a more reliable supply to meet future demand.

The project’s continued development is expected to reinforce Sharjah’s position as a contributor to the UAE’s energy sector while supporting the country’s long-term energy security objectives.
