The auction will take place on October 24 at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City Hotel, offering motorists an opportunity to bid for sought-after two-, three-, four- and five-digit registration numbers.

Registration is already open through the RTA’s official website and Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira and Al Barsha.

The auction is scheduled to begin at 2pm.

  • Exclusive two-digit combinations, including BB 80, BB 18 and CC 44.
  • A wider range of premium two-, three-, four- and five-digit registration numbers.

  2. Submit a Dh25,000 security deposit cheque, which is refundable if they do not secure a number plate.
  3. Pay a non-refundable registration fee of Dh120.
  4. Pay 5 per cent VAT on the final purchase price if their bid is successful.

Successful bidders must complete payment within 10 working days of the auction date.

Failure to settle the amount within the specified period could result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

How many number plates can you buy?

There is no fixed limit on the number of vehicle registration plates an individual can purchase at the auction.

Participants may bid for and acquire multiple plates, provided they comply with the RTA’s approved auction terms and conditions.

Premium vehicle number plates continue to attract strong interest among collectors and motorists in Dubai.

At the previous auction in December 2025, the RTA recorded total sales of Dh109 million, highlighting demand for distinctive registration numbers.
