Add a Nol One-Day Pass to your Etihad Rail ticket for seamless travel across the city.
Dubai: Etihad Rail passengers travelling to Dubai can now add a Nol One-Day Pass to their train booking, enabling them to continue their journey across the city by Dubai Metro, Tram and RTA buses using the same QR code.
The new option offers passengers a more convenient way to travel beyond Etihad Rail’s Al Yalayis Station, which is connected to Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station via a pedestrian footbridge.
When booking their Etihad Rail journey, passengers can choose between a Regular Nol One-Day Pass and a Gold Nol One-Day Pass. The pass can be used for eligible journeys on the Dubai Metro Red and Green lines, Dubai Tram and RTA public buses within the applicable zones.
How long is the Nol One-Day Pass valid?
The Nol One-Day Pass QR code remains valid for up to 90 days from the date of purchase, giving passengers flexibility over when they use it. The pass does not need to be activated on the same day as the Etihad Rail journey and can be activated at any time within the 90-day validity period.
Etihad Rail Nol One-Day Pass: How much does it cost?
Passengers can choose from two Nol One-Day Pass options when booking their Etihad Rail journey:
- Nol One-Day Pass Regular – Dh22 per passenger
- Nol One-Day Pass Gold – Dh42 per passenger
Both passes are valid for one day once activated and are priced per passenger.
The Nol One-Day Pass can be used on the Dubai Metro Red Line, Dubai Metro Green Line, Dubai Tram and RTA public buses within the applicable zones.
Intercity and seasonal bus services are not included in the pass.
How does the Etihad Rail and Dubai Metro connection work?
Etihad Rail’s Al Yalayis Station is connected to Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station via a pedestrian footbridge, making it easier for passengers to continue their journey across Dubai.
Passengers arriving at Al Yalayis Station can transfer to the Dubai Metro and travel to other parts of the city. They can also use eligible Dubai Tram and RTA bus services included with the Nol One-Day Pass.
The connection gives passengers a convenient public transport option for reaching destinations beyond the Etihad Rail station.
How to add a Nol pass to an Etihad Rail ticket
Passengers can add a Nol One-Day Pass while booking their Etihad Rail journey.
To add the pass:
- Select your Etihad Rail journey.
- Go to ‘End-to-End Journey Options’ before checkout.
- Select ‘Nol One-Day Pass’.
- Choose either the Regular or Gold pass.
- Complete the booking and payment.
Passengers can also start their journey through RTA smart channels, including Nol Pay and S’hail. After selecting the Etihad Rail option, users will be redirected to Etihad Rail’s booking channels to complete their reservation.
One QR code for Etihad Rail and Nol pass
Passengers who add a Nol One-Day Pass to their Etihad Rail booking will receive a single QR code for both their train ticket and Dubai public transport pass.
The QR code can be accessed through the Etihad Rail app or the passenger’s booking confirmation email, making it easier to switch from rail to Dubai’s public transport network without needing a separate ticket or pass.
Passengers can also start their journey through RTA smart channels, including Nol Pay and S’hail. After choosing the Etihad Rail option, they will be redirected to Etihad Rail’s booking channels to complete their reservation.
One QR code for Etihad Rail and Nol pass
Passengers who purchase a Nol One-Day Pass with their Etihad Rail ticket will receive a single QR code covering both the train journey and the public transport pass.
The QR code can be accessed through the Etihad Rail app or the booking confirmation email.
Passengers are advised to keep the QR code easily accessible throughout their journey, as they may need to scan or present it when using eligible transport services.
