UAE temperatures dip to 47°C, with rain possible on Friday and Saturday.

Dubai: Temperatures are set to ease across the UAE on Thursday, although unsettled weather will continue, with blowing dust, possible fog and further rainfall expected in parts of the country in the coming days.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecast fair to partly cloudy conditions on Thursday, with clouds developing over eastern areas and potentially becoming convective during the afternoon.
Temperatures will peak at 47°C in inland areas, down from the 50°C forecast a day earlier. Coastal and island areas are expected to see highs of 37°C to 42°C, while mountain temperatures could reach 38°C.
Winds may reach 40km/h, particularly in western areas, where they could stir up dust. The Arabian Gulf is expected to be slight to moderate, turning rough at times in the west, while the Oman Sea will remain slight.
Humidity is forecast to rise overnight and into Friday morning in some coastal areas, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist.
Rain chances are expected to increase on Friday, with convective clouds likely to form over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon. Similar conditions are forecast for Saturday, bringing another possibility of rainfall.
Sunday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, while the chance of rain returns over eastern areas on Monday. Winds could reach 40km/h at times, with fog or mist possible over some coastal areas by Tuesday morning.
