Ajman recorded 73,472 rental contracts worth approximately Dh2.91 billion in the first half of 2026, highlighting sustained demand for housing, according to the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department.
The department said the figures reflected sustained activity in Ajman, with rental indicators pointing to continued demand from both residents and investors.
Rental activity remains steady
Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, said the emirate continues to strengthen its position as an integrated and attractive destination, supported by flexible legislation, advanced infrastructure and smart services designed to simplify customer journeys, improve quality of life and enhance community wellbeing.
He said Ajman remains focused on meeting the needs of residents and investors, while supporting the emirate’s broader goals of comprehensive and sustainable development.

Yousef Mohammed Al Sheiba Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Rental Regulation Sector at the department, said the latest indicators point to continued activity in Ajman’s rental market, with sustained demand for both housing and investment.
He said the department remains committed to strengthening the emirate’s rental regulation framework by adopting the latest smart technologies and advanced systems to improve efficiency and support the evolving needs of the market.
