Dubai’s 80-hectare Jebel Ali Village set to house around 5,500 residents.

Dubai: Nakheel has begun handing over 892 homes at Jebel Ali Village, with residents starting to move into the 80-hectare residential community following the completion of its homes and core infrastructure.
The development is expected to be home to around 5,500 residents and has been designed as a low-density community featuring landscaped parks, pedestrian-friendly streets, outdoor recreation areas and interconnected green spaces.
Residents begin moving in
Jebel Ali Village includes dedicated walking and cycling paths, sports facilities, children’s play areas, a community pond and swimming pools within each residential cluster.
Jebel Ali Village has long been part of Dubai’s residential landscape, known for its established community and enduring appeal. With handovers now under way, the development is building on that legacy with a modern, well-connected neighbourhood designed to meet the changing needs of residents, said Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate.
Further amenities are planned as development continues, including a community centre with retail outlets, a clubhouse, gym, padel courts and event lawns.
Jebel Ali Village is located alongside Sheikh Zayed Road, with easy access to Ibn Battuta Mall and Discovery Gardens Metro Station.
