Gang arrested for robberies worth more than Dh98,000

Police in Saudi Arabia arrested a Yemeni gang of 15 for robberies.

According to the report, the gang stole money, oud and incense worth more than 100,000 Saudi riyals (Dh98,000).

Police spokesman Major Hussein Al Qahtani said that authorities had determined that the robberies from one store amounted to 80,000 riyals, while the robbery of another store was worth around 25,000 riyals.

He added that the thieves had confessed to their crimes upon interrogation, and will now be charged and tried.
