Nearly 1,400 investors from 68 countries establish 967 new businesses in Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah attracted Dh771.5 million in new investments during the first half of 2026, with 967 new establishments registering with the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighting the emirate’s rising status as a regional destination for business and investment.
The newly established businesses brought 1,399 investors from 68 nationalities to Ras Al Khaimah, reflecting continued confidence in the emirate’s investor-friendly environment and diverse economic opportunities.
Dr Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the RAK Chamber, said the latest figures reflect the resilience of the local economy and continued expansion across multiple sectors.

Numbers
Dr Al Nuaimi noted that 9,963 business licences were renewed during the six-month period, while 138 new establishments were registered in Ras Al Khaimah’s free zones. The emirate also welcomed the opening of 70 branches of local and international companies, further strengthening its commercial ecosystem.
He added that the latest investments are projected to create around 2,449 new job opportunities, supporting Ras Al Khaimah’s economic growth objectives and contributing to the UAE’s reputation as a leading global destination for investment and business expansion.
