Yas Marina Circuit gears up for a new season of racing action
Yas Marina Circuit is set to launch another thrilling motorsport season this weekend, with the Yas Racing Series returning for three days of high-speed competition and family entertainment. Entry is free, with complimentary tickets available for fans.
The opening round, taking place from October 31 to November 2, will feature the Gulf ProCar Championship, the region’s leading GT and touring car series, along with the Gulf Radical Cup, which brings high-performance prototype race cars to the track.
Thursday will focus on testing, followed by official practice sessions on Friday as teams prepare for the opening races. Fans can follow the action from the Yas Kartzone viewing area, watching drivers and crews fine-tune their cars ahead of the weekend’s competitions.
Racing gets underway on Saturday and continues into Sunday, with drivers competing for valuable early championship points across both categories.
The weekend will also include activities by the Emirates Motorsports Organisation (EMSO), including live marshal training and a Formula 1 simulation race as part of preparations for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Beyond the track action, visitors can enjoy a range of free activities throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Fans can test their racing skills in the Pit Stop Challenge, compete on the Tamiya Mini 4WD race track as part of the Otaku M.E Experience, and take part in various family-friendly games and activities.
The popular Pit Lane Walk will also return, giving both children and adults the opportunity to get closer to the race cars, meet teams and experience the atmosphere behind the scenes.
Visitors can also join the ADNOC Yas in Schools Challenge, which offers participants of all ages the chance to try their hand at mini-track racing.
