Dubai-Sharjah traffic update: Heavy morning rush-hour congestion slows key UAE roads

Date:

Heavy congestion and accidents cause delays on major UAE commuter routes.

Motorists faced significant delays across key Dubai and Sharjah roads during Tuesday morning rush hour, as heavy traffic, bumper-to-bumper congestion and several accidents slowed down journeys.

As part of its daily road safety advisory, Dubai Police urged motorists to check their vehicles before setting out on long journeys, especially during the summer months, to avoid heat-related breakdowns.

In a post on X, the force reminded drivers to ensure their vehicles are in proper condition before travelling, as part of ongoing efforts to promote safer roads and reduce preventable incidents.
